About Matt Tifft

Matt is a lifelong resident of Central Maine with a deep-rooted commitment to public service and community development. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Management, as well as a PhD in Public Policy and Educational Leadership. His academic background, combined with a meticulous attention to detail, equips him with a unique perspective and strong analytical skills—key advantages for clients navigating the complexities of buying or selling real estate.

Matt’s professional journey has included roles as a law enforcement officer and a college professor, where he developed a strong passion for community advocacy. His career has been driven by a desire to empower individuals to make informed decisions that positively impact their lives.

With hands-on experience as a general contractor—building two of his own homes and assisting in the sale and construction of several others—Matt developed a natural affinity for the real estate industry. This experience, coupled with a strong professional network, led him to join Tony Poulin and the team at Meservier & Associates, where he transitioned into a successful real estate career.

Matt approaches real estate with a client-centric philosophy, emphasizing prompt communication and a commitment to service. His goal is to empower clients to make confident, well-informed decisions regarding one of life’s most significant financial investments. Matt lives in Turner, Maine, with his wife and two sons. Outside of real estate, he is active in his local community, coaching youth baseball and football. He also enjoys traveling with his family, maintaining a dedicated fitness routine, and training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as both an instructor and student.
